Jesus the Center of Christmas
Let's go to Bethlehem... So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
(Luke 2:15-16)
From the Heart of Jesus:
I am the One born of God, in the humble town of Bethlehem. Angels announced me, kings and shepherds revered me, and Heaven's breath sealed the new hope for all of mankind. My Child, search for me each day with as much persistence as the wise men on the night of my birth. My "star" continues to shine, illuminating the way to eternal life. I am the Gift of God that brings forgiveness, mercy, peace and loving grace. I am the promised Messiah, and I will be with you always. Rejoice in knowing that you are dearly loved. Be prepared, for I am coming soon.
A Thankful Response:
We light the Christ Candle today, because Jesus is the center of Christmas, and he is the heart of God. You are God's miracle to us, Wonderful Counselor! We have found love wrapped in a manger, and we stand in awe of Your glory. You are more precious than incense, more costly than gold, and more fragrant than myrrh. We, your children, can only offer you humble gifts of solitary prayers, sacrifices of praise and gratitude, and broken lives. Blessed Messiah, you will always be the most precious gift to us. Our hearts will be your Bethlehem, where You can place your throne. You will always be the star of our lives. We celebrate you, Lord Jesus!
