Lamplighters is a Chapin Baptist Church Ministry for the growth and encouragement of all singles through Christ.

In a society where singles are sometimes led to feel incomplete because they are not married, this ministry focuses on the fact that Christian Singles are complete and whole because they are one in Christ. And through their light, shining as they walk with Jesus, other singles and non-singles will see the joy and the truth provided by our Lord and savior.

The Lamplighters Single Adult Minstry is multi-faceted and continually growing. Built on the premise of providing those things that you as a single need, when you need them, this ministry currently includes regular fellowship activites and a weekly Sunday School program. Plans for the future include having teams lead participants in discipleship programs, outreach programs, and various support programs focused specifically on the needs of singles.

Currently, with the support of the Chapin Baptist Church family, Lamplighter participants have access to existing discipleship, outreach, and support programs. For further information, please contact any member of our pastoral team (803-345-3477).

Other Opportunities 

Christian Singles Book Club

The Lexington Baptist Association is facilitating a Singles Book Club, designed to facilitate area singles ministries while also providing an opportunity for singles within smaller churches that do not have singles ministries organized.
