In 1980 a significant ministry was established by Chapin Baptist when it created the Chapin Baptist Child Development Center (CBCDC). This ministry is a licensed childcare facility whose mission is to nurture, teach, and minister to children and families in the Chapin community, according to Biblical principles. CBCDC opened in August 1980, and has grown considerably over the years, continuing to bless families of the Chapin area with a Christian-based childcare option.
