What We Believe

At Chapin Baptist, we strive to be a Biblically faithful, Gospel-centered church family. We want to reflect and represent Jesus our Lord, and we want to be used by the Lord to take the Gospel to the nations, so that all may have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ to the glory of the Father by the power of the Holy Spirit. Two of our primary pillars include Biblical preaching and teaching, and Great Commission multiplication. In other words, we want to infuse sound Biblical doctrine into our church ministries and find ways to see ministry multiply through evangelism, discipleship, ministry development, and church planting. Our theological foundation is important to us, and we want to shape our beliefs, vision, and mission in accordance with the Scriptures. Most importantly, we believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Spirit), the Bible as God's Word, and our Commission to declare the Gospel to the nations. In affiliation with the Southern Baptist Convention, we adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
